Just a quick update on the original post: FNF have now been alerted to rogue document on their site and have taken the appropriate actions to resolve the problem.0

PD001 - they have had the powers to remove driving licenses from the beginning - and apparently no it does not breach HR...NRPs have no rights...sorry I mean, because it was announced before Parliament that the CS Act is compatible with the HR Act, then there is no breach. We had asked, for many years, for the details of what research/thought process/views/opinions/statistics etc etc were used to conclude that it was compatible with HR - but apparently, that's not information for the general public.0

I suspect if it is untrue then it will be removed at some point today, if not removed, then i would assume that this stands true
Forgive me if im wrong, but i did not think the new CMEC plans had been rubber stamped by the government yet? Isn't all this just speculation where nothing has yet been agreed?
We are still on CSA2 rules and 2011 is still 2 yrs away?0 -
The response i had from FNF : includes draft amended document which was asked not to be circulated to the public as still in draft mode.
Hi Michelle
We have tracked down the factsheet that you quote from. There were clearly some problems with it, so I have drafted a revised version, which should hopefully appear on the site shortly
Parts of CMEC are yet to be finalised, but the basic outlines and foundations are in place, although not all actual legislation that can be used at the moment.0
