Has anyone used tile paint and does it look ok?
My kitchen tiles are white, there are a lot of them and i cant afford to re tile. The grout has discoloured and they are looking quite tired. My friend suggested painting them but i dont want to do it and it look rubbish.

My sister did it in our bathroom when we lived with our parents. It looked pretty good. She asked for advice though and they suggested a proper tile primer coat and then to use any solvent based paint over the top. The paint hasn't peeled, but you can't get water near them for several hours after.
She used a roller, painted them all white (and all the grout) and then picked out the odd random tile in another colour - the ones that she masked off with tape turned out much better.
Not sure how easy it would be if you wanted the grout lines in another colour to the rest, masking it all off would take forever.
Or I think you can get grout paint pens if it's just the grout that's bad.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0
