Bt Direct Debit Woes ... again!

Hi
I pay BT £62/month DD which also includes my broadband. Three days ago, they went in and took £137.07 ! So, I called them and they were looking into it.
To my horror, they took another £62 today! ( the usual monthly instruction).
Again, I called them, asked what is going on, and I want my money back. The admitted that there was a mistake, asked me to contact my bank and get the reference number of that transaction, and they will pay it back into my account in SEVEN to TEN WORKING DAYS!!
Surely, I have some grounds for compensation. I may go overdrawn, let alone be £130 down ... but to have to wait 7 - 10 working days, if feel is unreasonable.
How should I persue with this? I haven't yet faxed them my transaction number, so will hold off until I seek some sort of immediate redress.
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Go into your bank & ask for a direct debit indemnity and they'll be able to refund the amount on the spot.0
