I just turned 18 and have an account with Halifax (HALIFAX CARDCASH) which has a debit card with an interest rate of about 1%, and don’t have a regular income.
However, next year I am going to university (and have an acceptance letter) so it worth opening a student account? What is the highest interest I could get with a debit card (which I find useful) or opening another type with an overdraft and debit card?
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks
