Credit Card Payment Protection - Confusion

Hi,
I'm getting myself rather confused about this reclaiming lark, can I submit a letter to reclaim payment protection insurance on credit cards if I feel they have been misold to me, I've a credit card with Capital One and noticed they have been fined for mis-selling PPI on loans as well as Tesco Personal Finance?
I also had a loan from HSBC with PPI many moons ago and due to some repayment issues this has now been changed into a managed loan account with no PPI, does anyone know if I can use this as a basis to claim back what I have already paid?
Thanks

Yes, you can claim PPI on a credit card just like a loan or otherwise. If you take a look at this here it may help. Please ask if you need anything else.

i have already claimed 4000 and 1000 last year from liverpoolvictoria who admitted liability and halifax who dident but paid anyway. but i am also paying it with abbey and egg , can i claim it back on these as well i am worried they may ask for full settlement if i cancel , abbey is 1500 and 500 with cahoot(not egg). im going for it anyway on pre existing medical conditions , i have diabetes and i work for council so get paid on the sick.0

You go for it daz, if you feel you have a case where they would not pay you out as such if you had to claim on your reasons, in my opinion you have a case here, they should act fairly with you, good luck and let us know how you get on.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

They should not ask for the settlement from you unless you are in arrears or something like that. If you take a look at treating customers fairly with the FSA it may help.i have already claimed 4000 and 1000 last year from liverpoolvictoria who admitted liability and halifax who dident but paid anyway. but i am also paying it with abbey and egg , can i claim it back on these as well i am worried they may ask for full settlement if i cancel , abbey is 1500 and 500 with cahoot(not egg). im going for it anyway on pre existing medical conditions , i have diabetes and i work for council so get paid on the sick.0 -
