Primus so far

Just thought I would share my experinces so far..
After waiting a lifetime listening to hold music when I wanted to sign up begining of Jan, I was told it would take 14 days for all to complete.
10 days later I recieve a letter confirming my DD (name and address spelt wrong).
Last week a letter from BT confirming my CPS move, effective today (4th Feb).
But nothing else from Primus... After 2 abortive calls to Primus (not very good lines to Glasgow/India today), I mention the fact I have had no Welcome Pack (which was promised) and it was BT that informed me of my move date.
I was told by a very nice lady that in fact a letter was posted to me on the 29th.
I asked if it has been sent by ship mail via The Falkland Islands as I have not got it yet.
I informed the very plesant lady that I am very unimpressed by the service so far and I have only been a customer for a day.
Is this the norm for Primus?

Their Customer Service appears to have got worse since the move to India.

I was looking at moving to their calls package and despite the very clear
"There’s no minimum contract" I was offered at best a 6 month contract with £20 termination. Mis-selling? I think so.0 -
Well I have now been a customer since the 4th and still no "Welcome Pack".... Considering it was posted on the 29th

I have been a customer for a few years .
There billing is months behind .
I would not recomend primus to anyone ."Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many"0 -
Interesting that someone should complain about not being billed promptly!I have been a customer for a few years .
There billing is months behind .
Anyway, it depends on how you look at it.
To use Primus CPS, you have to have your line rental with BT but, like most of us, make a few calls via BT - when they're cheaper or just to qualify for free Caller Display and/or basic 1571.
BT charge line rental in advance (either monthly or quarterly) but for calls in arrears. So, in my case, BT's (calls) billing is ALWAYS 3 months behind.
Yesterday, Primus made a DD call for me to pay for calls I made via them up to 10 December. In other words, they're less than 2 months behind - a month less than BT!Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
