Hi
Any ideas how I can sort out my dyson vacuum cleaner, it's an upright model and looses it's suction when used upright.
I've removed every removable part, changed the brush bar, checked inside the cyclone and removed all the compacted dust, checked for blockages and the suction is fine when I use the attachments, but when I use on the floor it's terrible.
I'm at a loss at what the problems is TBH, as I've logically traced the vacuum journey and can't find anything to suggest what the issue is.

Have you checked the filters? Some have washable filters, others you have to replace them

However the suction is fine when using the attachments, it's only when I use as an upright vacuum cleaner across the floors that the suction doesn't seem to be working.
Any other ideas anyone, it's getting frustrating.Sealed pot challenge no 5820 -

I phoned Dyson when I had a problem with my washing machine. It was several years old, but they came and sorted it free of charge. Try these numbers 0870.6002701 or 01666.827200"A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi
