signed up for blockbusters free trial cancelled just before the the trial was up, few hours after i get an email telling me my card has been charged for my first months rental :mad:

Have sent several emails but have had no reply, does anyone know of a phone number for the online dvd rental - i can only find one for blockbuster stores :confused:

    Customer services tel. no. is 0845 60 60 383 but beware they are absolutely useless, I've spoken to Kimberley and Beverley so far, both crap and probably not even their real names anyway. Good luck!

    Finally got a reply of them, they have told me they wont refund me as they 'advise' customers to cancel before the trial finishes, after several emails to different people at blockbusters ive had many different responses, 1 saying they've refunded me then others saying they wont be refunding me.
    Think i will be staying clar from these from now on!

    There are loads of threads on here all with good advice about how to get the best out of DVD free trials. You have to not be greedy if you don't want to get charged. If you try to get as much out of them as possible they will almost always charge you for another month. Not just BB they're all the same.

    Greed is the problem and not just having a go at you here OP. You see if I personally join something free and get 1 free thing out of it then I am happy. It is something I didn't have to pay for - a bonus,

    Some people want 10 free things before they feel satisfied. Lower your expectations and you minimise the risk of anything annoying like another month's charge happening.
