Getting Council Tax re banded

Some while ago i posted on here that i thought my 2 bedroomed flat was in a too high council tax bracket,,anyway after joining this site i realised that you can appeal.On thursday i have a representative coming to re- ascess my flat....fingers crossed it will get re banded...I will post my outcome on here Thursday night.......Can i say what a most imformative site this is,,i come on here regular for advice and have had many a problem sorted ,,,,

If you go over to the Cutting Tax part of the forum, there is a long thread on getting council tax rebands with lots of helpful tips. If you have any questions as a result of your visit, that's probably your best place to start. Good luck!

Good evenin all..well woman came round this mornin with clipboard in hand...didnt ask to look round..just stood in my front room.....she had the brochure of the development on her clip board,,i told her i thought the banding was in a bracket too high,,i told her i havnt any gardens ,garages ect and that my freind owns a 2 bed flat are in the first bracket...she jotted that down and said.."we will be in touch,when we have looked at the brochure again".......so i dont hold out much hope,,didnt get a vibe that it was gunna work in my favour...............Hmmmmmm an when she went i was wishing i should have said this and i should of said that ect.......
