First Direct - Statement Folders / Cheque Book Holders etc

Does anyone know the official line on whether they provide these items on request?

A reply to a secure message I sent says they provide statement folders, cheque book holders, and card wallets on request, but they must be ordered through internet banking's "order items" link - which doesn't offer any of the items...

...on the phone they said the card wallets were stopped a while back, they could send me a statement folder, but while they thought cheque book holders were available, they couldn't find it listed on the "things to order for a customer" screen...

...and on the 0800 242424 number they didn't know...

argh!

Erm, I ordered my card wallet and cheque book holder a couple of weeks ago by sending an e-message. Unless the procedures manual has changed in the week i've been off, the CB holders should still be sent out.

I got a cheque book holder and card wallet (both leather) automatically when I opened the account. I didn't have to request them.

This was 15 years ago though, so things may have changed since then! I never got a statement folder though.

Following on from all the positive reviews from people here, I opened the 1st Account. I did telephone them as I send off the application 3 weeks ago and they said they had a backlog to get through! But they did confirm that I had been approved. I didn't realise we could have leather cheque book and card wallets. I will request (if still doing) when everything comes through.
