Radiator heights?

To help the plumber out (and to save us some money!) we are planning on mounting the rads in all rooms before the plumber arrives to fit the new central heating - we have already discussed placement of rads.
Is there a standard height from the floor that they should be placed at? Of course taking into account difficult beams below floor level?
thanks

150mm (6 in) should be enough. It might be worth checking how high you need it to get the vacuum cleaner under if upright type. If the piping is coming up from under the floor make sure you fit the rads so that the valve position will not be immediately above a joist. You can see where they are by the position of the nails holding the boards down.0

Generally 1 to 2" above skirting board to bottom of radiator upstairs and 4 " above skirting to bottom of radiator downstairs.
Difference being upstairs the pipework comes up through the floorboards, downstairs there needs to be pipework and brackets run underneath the radiators.
YMMV.0
