Does your direct debit payments to talk talk, appear on your bank or building society statement as payment to, the carphone warehouse.

Yes. I mistakenly thought it was an old direct debit for a mobile phone and cancelled it (at the time I had credit on the account, so no money had actually ever been taken using it). They started charging me £4 a month because the direct debit was cancelled - after giving them a lot of grief they refunded the charges and re-instated the direct debit.
