London Scottish bank compensation from FSCS......

:eek: :money: :beer: ...have anyone received compensation from the FSCS yet.....getting on for two months now since it went down.......

    Can you tell me, did you get a confirmation from the FSCS when you returned your form?
    I didn't from LSB claim, but I did for my ICESAVE claim. A little worried now they didn't get it.

    ,,,,no, I did'nt get confirmation. I've rung several times but they would not confirm receipt, they said they would be paying out early Feb....but they also said six weeks was their limit which would have been mid jan!!!

    Yes I have received an ack from FSCS dated 30th Jan 09 for my compensation claim.
    My prob now is tax. Mine is 2 yr bond & should have paid interest for yr 1 in Jan 09 but would have rolled over into the bond. Noone seems to know if the interest will still be assessed as income in 2 tax years or whether it will all be classed as income in one year next January 2010 which will mess up all my tax planning for 2 years. If that happens it will cost me but at least I will have my money back.
