ISA - Help Please...

Could you please advise ..?
Our ISA has lost £3000 during last six months. Should we cash it ? Or should we leave it.. ?

    I think you've got this in the wrong board - you'd be better off in savings and investments.

    However, I guess you have a stocks and shares isa. Depending on the overall value of the investment it might be better to stay put. If you had 3k and you now have 1p you may as well roll with it.

    If you have a substantial sum transferring your isa to a better performing investment could be prudent. I would try and find out what equities the isa is invested in, who is managing the fund, what is their record etc. Its not going to be stella on the stock market for a while but a good fund manager can still turn you a profit, depends on if you think its worth the grey hairs.

    Personally I found hitting F5 every 5 minutes when I was meant to be working wasnt worth it so I now have a boring old bank account.
