  • Oh yes I would like the answer to that one as well please
  • I think Aviva or Norwich Union are spinning the reattribution out so that we don't get any money. Vote was to be last June with Cash back if the vote was Yes, now they say they will restructure their offer! Received email from them today, also our bonds have gone down nearly a £1000 from last years statement, What is going on????

    See the Daily Mail-tastic: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=651389

(Norwich Union is now Aviva. There was due to be a 'reattribution' of the inherited estate, payable to some policyholders (and the sharehoders). This has now been postponed. The first installment of the 'Special Bonus' was paid, however.)

The FTSE 100 index is down over 30% on the year. Did you really expect your bonds to be 'up', given the turmoil in the financial system?
For the avoidance of doubt: I work for an IFA.
  • norwich union is closing but your shares with aviva shouldn't be affected. they're just "rebranding" themselves

    take a look at this

  • Hiya

Whats all this reattribution about? My mam got a letter about this today, pretty long winded but the basic jist of it was vote yes & she will get a cheque for £255... Vote no, and she will not get the incentive... but will be entitled to any future distributions from the inherited estate.

Any general views on what would be the best choice?
