Seat approved used 0% finance
Hi, Not sure if this is the correct area of the forum, but hey...
Seat have a deal advertised on thier websiote for 0% finance on selected Seat approved used cars. But when I have contacted dealers they either don't know anything about it or say it is no longer available, when it clearly says the deal runs till Feb 14th. Anyone had any experience??? Or dealings
Would like to take advantage of this offer before it closes but cant seem to get anywhere.
Here is the link http://www.seat.co.uk/generator/su/uk/SEAT/site/Service/used-cars/linkpage.html
Cheers,
Steve.

The dealers won't want to do it because it costs them money.
Realistically even if you found somewhere it was on offer you would probably find the price was inflated to cover the cost of 0%, so its a bit of a false economy. If they are not playing ball i'd look elsewhere.
However if your dead set on the deal ring seat explain the situation, tell them what you want and ask them to ring you back when they've found a dealer that can deliver what it says on the tin!0 -
I have already contacted Seat, they put me in contact with one
They new nothing about the deal
You are supposed to get them for the price on the Seat site because the cars are Seat UK stock and belong to them, not the dealers!!!!!
I smell a rat I think.........0 -
Your not going to get anywhere fast then. The only thing to do is ring back and kick and scream a bit.
At the end of the day it is "invitation to treat" and if a dealer doesn't want to do it there not gonna do it. I'd move on if i were you, plenty more fish in the sea.0 -
I am going to Arnold Clark on friday with this one. May get a deal on an IbizaMortgage free

That is above book price. I am sure there is something to come off, at least £1,000 and still have 0%.Mortgage free

I'm a bit out of touch with finance houses base rates atm so someone else might be able to give you a better idea. But i would hazard a guess that the dealer is paying circa £1000 to finance the vehicle @ 0% (this is called a subsidy - it is the opposite of finance commision)
So the dealer needs to sell the car @ book price (assuming this it what they paid for it) + the subsidy before they make any profit.
As they say in Yorkshire "tha don't get owt for nowt"
It maybe worth seeing if you can find the same cheaper elsewhere and see what it would cost using a normal loanl. You may find that it is cheaper0
