Potato Grow Sacks ???

Has anybody seen any for sale anywhere????
I have ordered some from Marshalls and they are now quoting in excess of 20 days for delivery !!!!!
We are very busy you know !!!!!!

    Never bothered with them. Just got some big plastic drums from my work, cut one end, punched the other & cleaned them throughly or used big pots I already had kicking about.

    Well done. We grew potatoes in a dustbin and a couple of buckets last year. Might try using compost bag liners this year.

    I use black compost bags that I roll down to start with, as the shoots grow I top up with earth, and roll up and keep well waterd.

  • Im going to use a bin I think and bash some drainage holes in the bottom. Might spraypaint it an interesting colour to brighten it up....

    I was in Homebase on Sunday they had 3 types of seed spuds with 3 growbags for around £5

    I used old compost bags or black rubble sacks, it's easier to earth them up than a bin (roll up the bag) easier to dig them out, and I don't have to store the bins out of season.
    When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.
