Never bothered with them. Just got some big plastic drums from my work, cut one end, punched the other & cleaned them throughly or used big pots I already had kicking about.

I use black compost bags that I roll down to start with, as the shoots grow I top up with earth, and roll up and keep well waterd.

I used old compost bags or black rubble sacks, it's easier to earth them up than a bin (roll up the bag) easier to dig them out, and I don't have to store the bins out of season.When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.0
