Hi all,
Just thought I would remind folk that these free workshops are still going strong. We went on a home ed trip this morning at Stockton Brook branch organised by a mother who attended mine earlier this year.
It was another fantastic event. My son was very proud of his pizza and saved some for the rest of the family to share! All the mothers were offered free lattes, cappucinos, expressos too!!!!:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

Another cool place to visit is Fiddlers Ferry power station. Our Home ed group visited earlier this year. The kids enjoyed learning about renewable energy, electricty circuits & wind turbine power.
I believe that other power stations offer education centres too.0 -
Thanks for the bump on this. We're home ed to, so will give our local branch a ring see if they're up for it
Will look into the power station idea too
Seems like there's a few of us HE on MSE

This is a fab trip. I went with my sons P3 class (age 6/7) all kids plus the parent helpers and teachers got to make a pizza and take it home. While we waited on the pizza cooking the staff gave the kids juice and the adults coffee was a great day.0
