Neil B for a Knighthood!!
Also thanks to everybody else. I hope my particular case may be of help to others. Without this forum I would have just paid up and it's a great feeling to have won and also it's it's great that there are good people like you guys out there.
Thanks once again.0 -
Very good of you to let everyone know the result.
Important that people realise this is not all dreaming!
I recall at one point I expressed some negativity and was rescued by very valid input from 'Bogs'. I think he deserves at least equal praise - as does the support of others as you say.0 -
Well done Neil, Bogs, and Bigalagain - great result
However I'd still like to see a penalty for councils when they drag matters on and then pull out of PATAS at the last min, where they had no intention whatsoever of going all the way or winning.0 -

Absolutely.....they are meant to cancel at the earliest opportunity and unless new evidence had come to light they should have cancelled at NtO stage if not at informal stage.
Councils have nothing to lose and a lot to gain by dragging it out but if they had to pay financial penalties for not contesting to the appellant then that would even things up a bit.0
