Hi,
I have complained to BT about something they done wrong but am getting no where. I have phoned and e-mailed. Does anyone know a contact higher up I can contact. Do OFCOM still exist?
Basically they took out double my direct debit without notice but refuse to pay back the money and have admitted it was there mistake.

Call your bank - under the direct debit they must refund the money immediately, and then they will investigate the problem.0

I wish I'd known about the direct debit refund thing when we got ripped off by Virgin Media.
Somehow someone was able to fraudulently charge movie and music downloads to our account meaning that we ended up getting stung with a direct debit of £135 in one month which Virgin Media refused to refund. They insisted all they could do was to adjust our account so that we paid nothing for a few months until the problem was sorted out. And to top it all they denied that the account could be used fraudulently in this way .... even when offered to provide proof that we had been out of the country for 2 weeks when we're supposed to have run up the bill ... and yes, it happened three months in a row before we eventually got it sorted out. :mad:Norn Iron Club Member 330
