Proof of Corgi Service

I have recently had my boiler serviced by a Corgi registered organisation. They ended up making three visits due to issues with a microswitch and seals as well as the initial visit for the service.
However, they have given me no paperwork relating to the service other than the bills.
I have always received some form of service report on the back of a service (either from an individual plumber or from BG).
Is this normal?
The bill has the company Corgi registration number, but obviously not the number of the individual plumbers.

They should have filled in the service log for the boiler (usually in/with the user manual - just like having your car serviced). If they identified anything not upto standard in relation to the gas supply or not complying with the gas regs then they issue a handwritten CORGI (or whatever they are soon to become!) advisory notice on the spot. All being well you don't get any other paperwork apart from the bills.
If they didn't fill in the service record then i'd make sure you hang onto the rest of the paperwork so you have at least some record in case of a warranty claim.

No they didn't do anything with the service record, the first plumber said the second plumber would do this when he completed the job, but he didn't! I will have to hold onto copies of the bills. Thanks
Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!
