have been trying to find a tenant for a 1st floor 1 bed flat in Walthamstow - who is able to claim LHA - can you believe I cannot find one!
Everybody says they are claiming benefits and LL's keep knocking them back and here I am and cannot find one for love nor money!

Is the dog track still open there.?
Have you tried the Local Councils Housing advice team
I would have thought they would be very keen on knowing
about a landlord who is happy to accept LHA.
Try advertising for free on Gumtree or Craigslist if you haven't
already!

If you can how much LHA you would get through the above link0 -
Dog track is being converted into flats at the WRONG time.
The Local Council say they have a glut of empty one bedroom flats of their own! Yeah right!
It is on Gumtree from this morning.
LHA is £165 per week0 -
have you spoken to the housing officer who deals with children or adults social services? they might be able to point tenants in your direction? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Like I said I spoke to Private Sector Leasing - they told me that Waltham Forest themselves have a glut of one bedroom flats.
Somehow I cannot quite believe that - things are not right with this LA anyway.
I deal with Haringey as well and they are on the ball (in private sector leasing anyway)0
