Wall tiles adhering to glass, or not???

Don't ask why but I have a need to do some 2" wall tile trim half on glass and half on wood. Will the adhesive stick otherwise I will need to remove the glass and cut a 600 mm strip off which I don't fancy having to do.

you could try a tube of clear or white mastic instead, you will be able to stick the tiles to both, great fixing.
