broken condenser dryer

Hi, hoping someone has some advice.
I have a Hoover washer dryer and the condenser dryer has stopped working. The drum turns but it doesn't heat up. Before it stopped working, it was making some funny noises. The washing machine still works ok though. Any ideas?
