still snow here. Will post pics in a minute.
No work this morning, the school I teach the sixth formers at is shut. In fact just about every school in Dorset seems shut! Waiting to hear about tonight but the school I teach at tonight is already shut where it was open yesterday so it will be up to the bosses whether there is no cookery tonight either."Stay Wonky":D

Why is hubbles grumpy?
It's quiet on here this morning!
I've had a hankering for coffee cake for a few days now but haven't managed to shift my lazy carcass to get it made:rolleyes:
Hubbles is grumpy because he is having to redo work that his team haven't done properly in order to meet an unrealistic deadline his boss promised to the client... And he's mega tired because he can't switch off from work and is therefore not sleeping and the whole thing is self perpetuating... At least when Bean finally does show up he'll get a break from work and be tired for more positive reasons!!!
It is very quiet...26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Do you get paid regardless? Otherwise that's a bit pants for you, even with the potential extra AQA time...26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Morning all
Back to normal here....most of the snow is gone and the sun is shining (although the banking snow clouds over the channel look really, really pretty - and slightly ominous)
DD2 is tucked up in bed, seriously high temperature and swollen glands, she always does this when she's growing - she had loads of time off last year and they tested her for all sorts...she has a growth issue which makes one side of her body grow faster than the other which has led to lots of complications over the years with her spine and her chest, seems to be that the slightest growing spurt and her body tries to shut down....ahh well, at least she's warm and cosy in bed.
I'm going to do some baking today, not sure what tho...will see what tempts me when I've got showered and dressed."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

nope, don't get paidTuesdays are 3 hours teaching, so I've lost £53 in salary today and £35 last night. That's a lot of AQA'ing to replace it
Today is my day not in the office so i'm going to see what I can do on AQA, but I won't get anywhere near replacing the missing teaching money AND earn any normal AQA on top. I'd need to do £100 on AQA to make up for it which is only on a very busy day if I worked for around 8 hours........I think I've only ever done £100 in a day once in 2.5 years. If the teaching is off tonight, that's another £35 that will be lost!
Snow this morning - it's stopped now and the skies are getting blue."Stay Wonky":D

Morning, the entire county has ground to a standstill with 4" of snow so can't get to work (:D). Watching cars skid down the road this morning was fun, until I remembered my own car is parked on the road  Should be fine though, think they've all given up!No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

Lovely pics BB. That's pretty rubbish about not getting paid... Does the missed class at least mean the course will run longer and you'll make it up later or is it a dead loss?
Bet your Charlie loves the snow... our Saxon used to go nuts for it:p26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Morning!
Everything pretty normal in Telford and Wrekin-a few schools closed, roads a bit icy but nothing drastic.
Luc-keep resting hun. I remember my friend saying she wished she had a battery you could charge before the baby came because after it comes-you get REALLY REALLY tired. It is so hard to explain but you can never be ready for the upheavel the little bundles of joy bring. It's such a funny time when a baby comes-you are ecstatic over the little bundle/more tired then you ever thought possible/HORMONAL/and I just wanted to get on with things-and people coming by made it difficult...
anyhoo, work then home to IRON (must not avoid anymore) and clean bathroom and kitchen.Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0
