i think i gave jenny a bath once or twice when she had fleas... but even nowadays there's no need for that.... i wouldn't dare try to bathe bob! he'd go mental as anything!! he's not a loving cat.....

funny thing though, he didn't appear on friday or saturday at all and i had begun to think he'd moved in with someone else (as he does! hence we call him the lodger) or even worse had he been run over or something... but on saturday night, Graham heard mewling and wailing coming from empty rabbit hutch in back garden... poor bob had gone in for shelter and the door blew shut behind him!!! talk about starving!!!

I used to have a Maine Coon and a Norwegian Forest. Both rescue cats. I will have dig out photos, they stayed with my next door neighbour when I moved as we lived in a village and I was temporarily homeless for six months and then I didn't want to movethem as they were settled and my neighbours daughter would have been heartbroken.

Stupid schools are closed - apparently the teachers can't all get to work. Most of them live closer to the school than I do!!!

    Hi

Bookie, glad to see you posting despite the alcohol consumed yesterday ;) all sorts of rumours were flying round yesterday's thread about you

BB, does your ex-oh like your cooking. Maybe you could offer to stock his freezer with your home made ready meals and make some money on that, or at least stock up your own freezer at the same time ;)

Luc, coffee cake sounds yum, yes please :D

I don't think I wish to bath Aston, my avatar, but when he comes in dripping wet, he will stand and let you dry him off with a towel.

I have managed to defeat the ironing mountain:j

Feeling very anxious today as Dad is due to visit soon with the girlfriend who I havent met yet but apparantly doesnt like me very much:o

Plus I havent seen my Dad in 3 years, we are not very close so its all making me a bit down:sad:
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
  • Ash's nursery is still open so I'll be taking her in a little bit. The schools are closed though.

    1. who cares what she thinks?

its always hard to meet some one you haven't seen in a while. Just remember you are on home ground, you can tell them to leave if you feel uncomfortable.

    ((((((hugs)))))))))
    Nevertheless she persisted.
