coming from a country that gets snawfall for 6 of the 12 months of the year, it is kind of embarrassing the fuss made-however, as I'm sure our darling lenny would point out, this country just doesn't seem to have the infastructure built in to deal with a wee bit of snow.
I, for one, cannot drive my little tiny car in a straight line in the snow here because I slip all over the shop. Back home in the Great White North, I would have had snow tyres. Hey Len!
Was gunna send search party out for ya...Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Thank you Bunny. We are not a nation such as Canada or even Bavaria or Austria. We just simply do not get enough snow year in year out to justify supporting a full on snowland infrastructure (that's a technical term btw). DO we as a country when it comes to Oct put our winter wheels on our cars? No. Do we get the snow chains out of the shed and put them in our boot, No. We should just take it on the chin, for a few days and just accept it. The colonials (well the i know the yanks do) declare a national snow day or something i.e. no one goes into work or school etc until the initial deluge has been dealt with.We are British and we are used to overcoming and adapting, its why we ruled the world and its why we had the biggest EMpire that's ever and will probably never ever the see the like of again. We are not European or American. Thats my rant over

Yeah, good job that friend is a Whisky fanatic ( and our other drinking buddy owns a Company that prevents counterfeiting/ grey market selling and Duty avoidance...with Contracts with most distilleries, so lots of freebies ).
I have only ever like ONE before and that was in the freezing cold ( August! ) at Teachers and I had a pure malt that they blend in with some other cr*p to make the bloody awful Teachers stuff that turned me off of it!
I have just been backthrough the post and edited out the 'e' from my spelling of Whisky:D:D stay wonky
