    the reason why I won't go on medication is because I don't believe in medicating something that isn't harming me physically. I do realise that things might be "easier" if I took ADHD meds, but I wouldn't be ME.

    Also, at the end of the day, I have to live with me, so I'd rather learn to live with anything I have, dealing with it, rather than being ashamed and drugging myself to be someone else.

    I would never judge anyone else that are or their children are on medication though, this is just my personal choice. However, this doesn't mean I am not willing to try and make things better. I've worked incredibly hard to function in everyday life and am currently doing a PhD. I motivate myself to give hope to others like me. It doesn't mean I can do it alone.
