I have checked and loads of sites are selling these, so if it's fake then it's got past an awful lot of professionals, so I would cast doubt on it being fake.

But I guess if anyone is really concerned and wants to follow it up then the best people to ask would be EA directly.

I would be quite suprised if they hadn't picked up on it thought as it's so widely available.
  • Maybe these are leftovers from those offers that you sometimes see in department stores. These "buy two items and get a giftset free" kind of offer?

  • Thought I'd let anyone who bought this and doesn't think it's ok know that I wrote and complained on behalf of lots of you. Have had this reply so think you'll need to write individually for a refund.

    Hello Ann

I am so sorry you have had this problem, we have now had this product checked and it is a genuine Elizabeth Arden product to date we have now sent out 1900 and have not as yet had any returned, the company involved in the promotion for us will send you something for the inconvenience this has caused you if you would like to return the item they will send you a full refund.
Once again on behalf of the Yours magazine thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Mine arrived this morning and I admit to being slightly disappointed, however the lipstick is very creamy and stays well, so the compact is worth £2.00 imo.
  • Got mine today and thought it was okay. I think it does look like a free gift however i am putting in as a little extra for mothers day!
