Fab spot, will pass it on to my Mum, thanks :T
  • Mine just arrived - thank you!
Think I would have been pretty disappointed if i'd spent 12 quid on it, but it's fab for 2.95

I've justgot mine and it's okay for the money but I am a bit disappointed. It is no NOT Elizabeth Arden. It just has the name stamped on top of the compact and on the (bright turquoise) brushes. It says that it is 'made in China' whereas all Elizabeth Arden stuff is made in the USA. I feel ripped off to be honest! Am I just being fussy?

I feel bad that this has not turned out to be a good buy for us. :o
Haven't got mine yet as I am on holiday but if it's cheap and nasty perhaps we should think about complaining to beauty outlet direct?

Don't feel bad, it's completely not your fault! To be honest it will be useful just to stick in your handbag and I probably will use mine but I'm annoyed that they're claiming it's made by EA. I'm surprised at the magazine to be honest and can only assume that they have no idea.

Sorry for making you feel bad. I didn't mean to! It's like all money saving deals, you win some you lose some!

How do you know its not EA?
From everything I've read it's stated that it is and I recognise one of the colours.
If it genuinely isn't then we can get our money back, but what proof do you have? (other than it looks cheap).

EDIT: There are lots of places selling this as EA, so you need some proof.
Not jsut "it doesn't look like it".

I'm not being nasty, but legally speaking you won't be able to get your money back without something to back up your claim, which I can't find any basis for at the moment, although I've been looking.
  • i got mine today ,alrought its made in China I still think its genunie Arden, very handy in handbag, i would not pay for £12 for it but worth for a £ 3
