Hi there. Now I apologise in advance if tihs is in the wrong place.
In my flat I have a metric door and this is well over the 80" high... but we're just decorating and want to get a nice fancy door instead of those horrid thin mdf doors.
what i'm wondering is there any way of making the door way smaller? There is a little bit of a window at the top of my door, so i'm taking it that it never really had a proper door structure. its the biggest door in the house which makes it a pain when i'm trying to get a fancy door.
any help would be appreciated.

can you take the piece of frame out below the glass above the door and move it down to suit door size and reglaze.magnet southern used to do metric door sizesif you think peoples advice is helpfull please take the time to clicking the thank you button it gives great satisfaction0

You can pad out your frame with timber to get it to accept a standard door size but if you go to a timber merchant or go online to companies such as Finewood Joinery or Leeds Plywood & Doors - they do fancy doors in metric sizes & this will save you the hassle of padding out the door frames! Hopes this helps!0
