Do you ever get to Coventry there is an excellent stall in the market that sells gaskets. Or give these people a ring they stock masses of spares normally off the shelf. Worth a phone call.
Their prices are good as well.

Pressure cooker really scare me too. I stopped using mine when a friend had to redecorate her kitchen after an accident with hers. She was cooking beetroot when she moved it and the valve thingy shot off spraying the kitchen with beetroot coloured water. It looked like there had been a massacre. It was some years ago, the modern ones are probably much safer.0
