do bank accounts improve your credit score

if you have multiple bank accounts on your credit file, presenting nice green ticks, Does this improve your credit rating and look good to lenders, even if no overdraft in place ?

Yes, it is a sign of stability - all bank accounts are reported to the CRA as a "Current Account" and not as a "Basic Account".
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

It depends. You might already have a lot of available credit through overdraft facilities, which could be regarded as negative.

Only my RBS account (basic) appears on my file, my Halifax and Barclays dont. I'm tempted to open a Natwest too, as I heard they also appear on your credit file as a current account.

What Barclays account do you have? My Barclays one appears on my credit file, but I do have an overdraft.
