BT Call return fees and Unlimited calls package

Hi!!
I'm sorting out my dear mums BT phone bill for her and need to lower it.
After lots of head scratching (I'm with Virgin so not clued up on BT at all) it turns out that mum has not realised she was being charged for all her Call return fees (pressing 3 after 1471).This had added up to quite a lot over the years so i'm looking to change her package.
I put her on the free evening and weekend calls but she still keeps making calls during the day so now gonna get her on the unlimited calls package.
My question is do BT still charge if you press 3 after 1471 on the unlimited package?
Thanks for any replies:D
Just worried mums not gonna be able to break the habit of pressing 3:rolleyes: so need to sort this out.

There's a 10p charge just for pressing 3 - so even if the call itself is included in her calls plan, she's spending unnecessarily.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

Can you not still get BT to remove the option of pressing 3 after 1471?It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0
