How do I get a free experian report?

Does anyone know how I get a months free experIan? Following on from from my 'LloydsTSB disaster' thread where they made a huge mistake when I paid off a credit card, we now have a 'black mark' on our experian file and have been refused an offset mortgage..

Im currently in my 30 day trial period. And have done a couple of searches. You have to give your credit card details, but they dont claim for any money if you cancel within 29days. I rang up to check when my 30 days ran out. I got through straight away and was told without any hassle.

Bad news about your offset mortgage , hope you sort it out. Have you looked into the Co-op flexi mortgage?

Cheers Smitty . Will look at the link you sent. We are currently re-mortaging with Britannia 5.49% with no fee to pay. This is the first problem we've had and it was a bank error so hopefully will be sorted out soon.

Thats not what I was told on the phone. I was told...

My trial runs from 19th Nov to 19th Dec
If I cancel by 18th Dec they won't take the money.
If I cancel on 19th Dec, they will take the money but then refund it

Just rang and checked. They cancel it 'there and then' when you call.

Good, glad I heard wrong

Only thing I don't like is that the site does not allow you to see the reports after midnight
