If there are any Costco members, there is 20% off some memory cards in the voucher book that should have been sent to all customers, if not u can pick one up in store.0

Thanks all; however I'm buying for someone else who did only want a 256mb or possibly 512 - no more than. I'd looked at some of the on-line sources mentioned, & this Panasonic one seemed as good a buy as any, even if the 'after sale price' is incredible!0

I have found this site quite useful for memory card price comparisons
http://www.cameras.co.uk/html/cheap-memory-cards-1.cfm?card=securedigital&capacity=256mb
I think your SD card can be bought for around £11 from a few sources! However the whole price depends on P&P terms etc. Peraphs the 512k version might be better value after taking this into account0 -
i think this is cheap (do correct me and i will end if necessary)
if anyone wants to buy........

There is already a thread about memory cards on the grabbit board. Still a reasonable price though. In the words of David Brent "Statistics are like a lamp post to a drunken man, more for leaning on than illumination"0

Mecoconuts wrote:OR if you want 'Top Quality' you can buy the SanDisk Ultra II (USB) SD Plus Card - 1GB with Free Keychain Card Holder for £46.80 (usually double the price elsewhere) delivered from here :
http://www.picstop.co.uk/Secure-Digital-(SD)/SanDisk-Ultra-II-(USB)-SD-Plus-Card---1GB
This card doesn't require a card reader as it has it's own built in USB connection. Effectively this makes it the smallest USB memory stick on the planet.
It's also a 66x Hi-Speed card.
Mecoconuts - Picstop is an ace company and their delivery times are awesome!I only exist in my own mind - if you can see, hear or read me, you are a product of my imagination.0 -
That's £18.94 delivered compared to £17.79 at OnlineMemory.0
