laminated flooring

i just moved into a house which has laminated flooring all over. i heard on the tele somewhere that not to use commercial products to clean the flooring as it eliminates the shine on it. can anyone suggest with laminated flooring what is the best thing to clean it.

Wife always mops i once a wk,with mr sheen for laminated flooring, & uses the cheap floor wipes daily, that you get at the pound shops. Got to give my misses due, the floor always looks clean & shiny & the house smells fresh.
