  • I assume that this is the keyworker scheme that Co-OP were given the monopoly on by Mr Darling. You will be applying for a loan plus a mortgage from the Co-Op. Are you still at the loan stage or has that been approved yet?

By the way, you don't have to use the C0-Op. There is a whole of market version available from other lenders. The repayment rules are different but it is worth looking into.

yeh it is through the own home scheme, they only go through the co op.
we have to get approved with them before we can get the equity loan.

none of this is really answering my original question though.

also my credit score is 999 so what is the problem and why would other people affect me? just because i lived at the same address - surely the co op can see that its not in my name???

Credit scores are really only a possible indicator and not really worth paying for- every company uses their own systems to determine whether or not to offer you credit.

OK, i havent missed any payments in over 3 years have no defaults or ccj's have a little amount of money outstanding on my credit accounts,

like i said before the reason they said we have been declined is because there is a default registered to someone st a linked address - i need to send them my report so that they can see it is not in my namejust another person who has lived or lives at one of my old addresses.

so as per the original question, do you think i have a chance when i show them that the 'default' registered at the ADDRESS is not mine?

I was trying to understand whether it was your HomeBuy application or
Co-op application. The former would explain the question as their admin is appalling.

    You have a chance.
