Advice- Egypt in June

Hi all, just after some general advice from people who know more than me!
Me and my boyfriend are looking to go to Egypt for 7 nights around 3rd June this year. We have about £500-£550 budget each and would like a hotel within walking distance of a beach. I have read lots of reviews on various hotels in Sharm el Sheikh, Taba, El Gouna and Hurghada (some of the places I've looked at), but just wondered which area people would suggest for this kind of money.
We would probably spend most of the time at the hotel/beach, with excursions on a few days.
I have been looking and most prices seem to be around £480-£520ish.
Thanks in advance!

El Gouna is very lovely but more of a high end enclosed complex quite some way from the town of Hurghada. It has its own shops, restaurants etc but if you want to go out and about then you are looking at a minibus each time.
Hurghada is very nice, lots of nice beaches ad most hotels run excursions and very safe to walk up and down the promenade or streets of the old town. Not too excessive with pestering either. Prices in bars and restaurants were very reasonable this time last year. El Gouna was more expensive though.
I believe Sharm is lovely though I haven't been but again more expensive out and about than Hurghada itself.0 -
I've been to both Hurgadha and Sharm and I would definately recommend Hurghada over Sharm.0

I've been to Sharm and found it expensive to eat out, therefore I would recommend all inclusive. Do your homework with the hotel to make sure the food is good.
Tip the staff at the beginning of the holiday and they will look after you really well, we tipped the guys at the pool and they reserved our beds every day - no early morning dash to the sunbeds needed.
It will be really hot in June!
Enjoy!Waddle you do eh?0
