Sticking back plastic coating on MDF

In my kitchen, some plastic edging strip (wood effect) has lifted up on the edge of a mdf/chipboard panel due to water splashes over a period of time.
What is best adhesive to stick it down please?
Also some plastic covering over the side of mdf cupboard door has lifted up on the side of cupboard due to heat damage. Can I warm it up to flatten it again? What is the best adhesive to stick it back down again?
Thanks for any advice.

Would superglue be OK?0

You can try with a warm iron, place a piece of kitchen paper between the iron and cupboard and don't leave too long, it might restick. If not, I would expect a contact adhesive would be the best bet.
Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

Wood glue or PVA may be sufficient - least that's what i'd try.
