Urgh another £322 lighter and a bloody bill from the university this morning asking for another £600. Why why why did I ever bother with HE? :mad:No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

I don't have kids, but we're snowed in down here in SE London. We have nearly 10 inches of snow, the buses and trains are suspended, so I couldn't get to work if I tried (Central London) and the road is now blocked due to four jack-knifed lorries.
All schools are shut here, and most people are out having snowball fights with the transport police manning the roadblocks. I would be at work if I could be, but I can't, so stuff it.
Some chap on the Radio 2, a teacher no less, was screaming that we should all make more effort to get in. Since walking ten miles in falling snow (and ten miles back) is generally regarded as unwise (hypothermia, frostbite etc) I think I'll ignore the tyrannical little nutter. Wouldn't want him teaching any kid I know. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
