Are you getting a pearl one from someone else later? ;)

My DD came home from school the other day and told me what a pearl necklace is - she's 13
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

    It's snowing heavily again :j .
I grew up in Southern Germany and I cannot believe all the fuss about a little bit of snow! By that I don't mean us getting excited and playing in it, I mean the country grinding to a halt because of it!
I know it doesn't happen very often but we've known about this for the last four days.
I have very little sympathy for the bus/tube/train companies who are going to have lots of complaints! :D

This wouldn't even count as a heavy fall. It's been less than half a metre in some places!
