kamperkat that's horrible being imposed on every 3 months, as for tidying for it it really doesn't have much to do with them until you moved out! I would sincerely question if that is being allowed quiet enjoyment of your home.
nicki I love your DDs comment!
pigpen thanks for posting the list, when's the assignment due? Did you manage to get anywhere with that part you posted?

Watched Black Hawk Down tonight, never seen it before, wow what a film. The fact it's based on a real event of course makes it more powerful. I've only done an hours study today which is all I scheduled but feel a little guilty about it :o sad aren't I.

Right suits out, uniforms are out, half pack ups made. Just hoping I can get through to the conference, well regional summit as she's called it, tomorrow. Had a bit of a problem tonight as I phoned DS1s new taxi firm, they can't collect him until 8.50am, so at said meeting I will be using the opportunity to pick the brains of someone who knows a lot about school transport! I can't get DS2 to school if they are picking him up then and he'll be fretting he'll be later than the others, for trips etc.....so I can see poo plops hitting fans, in the right places of course!

Hope to catch up with you all tomorrow (well today I suppose) at some point, have a lovely day xx
One day I might be more organised...........

I'm in please this week, after a good start yesterday, this is where it all gets a bit overwhelming for me. I've rushed home from work full of enthusiasm to see what's on the list for today, and now saying to myself 'blooming heck' are you sure? :rotfl:

So I'm gonna strike the living room, it's not 'that' bad, so will concentrate on the hall and front door, entrance lobby bit (don't have stairs).

I swished and swiped the bathroom this morning before I went out.

    Monday - [STRIKE]Living room[/STRIKE], hall and stairs!
    Level One

    Clear and wipe surfaces
Polish all the glass things (hall windows and front door)
    Level Two

    De-web and de-fluff the room
    Extras
    29 fling boogie! - I'll make this 29 weeds
    Sort my shoes
    Dinner
    Make lunch for tomorrow
Make sure lounge is tidy before flaking out for the night

I'll update before I go to bed.

  • Morning ladies,

Couldn't sleep so thought I would post and tell you the news.
145008001233002931-final.gifAs you know, I asked everyone who felt they could, to light a candle for Tristan on Saturday and so many of you here said yes, which left me almost overwhelmed with the kindness.

We have a mutual friend who is the one that is keeping me updated and she went to visit Tris yesterday (Sunday) and said that the Drs and nurses were really pleased with him as his vital signs seemed to be stronger and when she sat and talked to him, he squeezed her hand, and earlier that day had 'blinked' when his family were with him!

What is more - she told him that I loved him and was thinking of him and he moved his hand towards the pendant he wears which is something I had made for him 3 yrs ago when he first became ill. But what it all means is that not only did he understand what she was saying, but that he is not so deeply in his coma right now! And I really believe that is due to all the love and light you all sent to him! So thank you thank you thank you!

    hugs to all

    Morning All

Snow here - not as much as DH has - he's in Wakefield. Not enough to close the school though.

Hopefully it won't take long to do the LR tonight but we'll see.

Diva - pleased to hear there's more response from Tristan - my virtual candle is still lit.

Take care everyone venturing out in the snow.

Hope everyone has a good day

    Morning

Diva - encouraging news about Tris. Will light a candle again today for you both.

Easy day for me today then. I gave the living room a real good going over last Thursday, including dragging out and hoovering under the sofa's and tv etc. So today it'll just be a quick whizz round. Shame I can't say the same about the rest of the house.:o Off to work in 20 minutes so I'll post a list when I get back.

Just seen all of the snowy weather on sky news. Not a single snowflake has fallen here yet:confused:

Must go and get ready now. Catch you all a bit later.
