Afternoon everyone.
Not long been up after my night shift. No snow here just very icy pavements and roads. have put some salt down on my front path and back path.
Dont plan on much flying today. Im talking to my SIL up in the granite city. They have a foot of snow. Got some programmes I recorded during the week to watch. Off work for 2 weeks now. YAY!
Toots I had a mental image of your jeans standing up in the bathroom which made me laugh.
rosepink. Big hugs. What a lovely DH.
Diva Wow that is brilliant news about Tristan. Glad you could talk to him again.
Triker Have sat here and puzzled my brains wondering who is missing.
:rotfl::rotfl:
Serena Hope you have a lovely time when you go to France.
Soappie Oh I love Pink Floyd and they bring back memories. Thats great news about the bank statements. A lot less work for you.
MOF77 Congrats to DS on his 11+ results.

yep, too many toys  - my 2 love their pc and nds - altho dd likes to draw alot! - the other day ds wanted to play something with me and i told him to get a game out, he stood in front of the full cupboard with all the games and said 'i can't find a good game!'
i think the trick is i have to sit down with them and play then they always join in - even the thomas train set
left on their own it's easier for them to play consoles ...
Julie i'll do the HHC with you!0 -
Soappie - you could say that buster was essential for the 'national presense of squirrel's in semi urban gardens audit' that the police commisioned for the financial year 2007-2008. Under clause 6 you got extra points if it was a fly lady sized squirrel clutching a bottle of wine.
Lady-L - I'll be thinking of you this week. Which day do you actually go in?
That's enough accounting for now. All the spreadsheets are done. Just need to find the accompanying invoices etc. I can do that in the week.
Off now to find the jigsaw to do the kick plates....I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Just decluttered birthday cake no 3 from DS3's birthday - we all love cake - he liked the homemade two more than the shop brought one I got for the party - it was the stig, who he loves so looked great and the band had stickers which he is putting on this thank Qs.
Went to Frankie and Bennies last night and my kids love their BBQ sauce (ribs) so we asked if you could buy it. They brough out a huge ice cream tub full and said we could have it on the house! Fantastic freebie.
Also party bags were tubes of cadbury buttons (with FC on the box) reduced by 70%.
One more photo to do and then I can start preparting the listings for Thursday. I've decided that my limit for items in a week is 10. I get bored after that and find the packaging/posting gets out of hand if there are more. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I agree MOzzy mine love board games or even playing cards.
No snow here. I really hope we don't get more today as I need to finish getting the stuff for skiing this week. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Is it snowing anywhere else or is it just here?
and here (Leics). Supposed to be carrying on for a few hours  . Can't miss school or work tomorrow - three days pay down last week as it is  .
DH is cleaning his tools and supplies up in the junk room. DH never, ever tidies his stuff up so I am mildly concerned. I have duck taped my mouth shut in an effort not to ask him if he is ok or if he needs a hand becuase he wil wonder off and leave me to it.
I need to do something about dinner asap though if he is to take SS2 on the two hour round trip home before the snow get much worse.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Those of us who weren't around then would like to know more
Triker - like the others I really can't think of anyone who's missing
Been to the shop... still raining gently. I suppose I should go and do a bit more digging, otherwise I won't be able to get to reflexology tomorrow morning... Can't see myself getting all done today, but best to make a start!0
