A few years back I read a Sue Grafton book K is for Killer. One of the Kinsey Millhone alphabet series. Then I came across P is for Peril, in the hotel whilst on holiday in Cyprus about 4 years ago. Spent the entire week buried in the book and never got to the end cos the last 10 pages or so were missing:rolleyes::rotfl:

So, I decided I'd get the whole set and start reading them from the beginning. I have every book from A to T(which is the latest one) except for L is for Lawless. Finding this one second hand is like looking for a needle in a haystack. It's only the MSE in me that stops me from buying it new:o

Trouble is I've started reading the series now, quicker than I expected, cos they're that good and I'm on G already. So I'm getting a bit desperate for L now.
I love those books too, they are great! If you can't find the L to buy right now, how bout ordering it from your local library so you can read them in order? It's free to order if you order large print, otherwise I think it's £1 if you order normal size, and in my experience you get the books within a few days altho sometimes it takes a bit longer. I order books online which is really easy to do. Then you don't have to worry about finding it straight away and as soon as you've read it, it will turn up :rotfl:

I'm feeling much better today, have just been mooching about, running errands (sorry but can't be bothered to list them and it's a good phrase!;) ), and sleeping. Haven't done any flying as felt rubbish this mornin but feel tons better now!
Hugs to everyone who is feeling poorly and well done to all you lovely flyladies and gents who have been doing stuff today!
Better get dresssed and go out now. See you later!

TAG - might be able to find you a copy if none of the flyladies happens to have one lying around that they can send you!

Thanks soappie  I've just called and cancelled tomorrow's meeting to be on the safe side :p If the forecast is wrong I'll go in (the 5 day forecast for my postcode says sleet tomorrow, but I'm not convinced), as i need to see my team sometime...
  • tag - will look out for 1 for you, I've read loads, my god isn't she fit with all that running, I can't be ar5ed to do anything remotely physical, well apart from one thin, but I am a newlywed!!!!!!!!

And I want to live next to an old man who loves cooking and doesn't mind you popping in and eating it all!!

Have been very naughty, all I've done is de-clutter an alcoholic drink and watched eggheads, dh is making the tuna pasta bake that I said earlier, may go in and ask if he needs anything doing - hopefully he'll say no like he always does!!

Can you take aspirin or is it no NSAIDs? If I run out of ibuprofen I substitute with aspro-clear (can't have the ordinary ones during a migraine, I feel sick enough as it is!). I also find that once I've taken all the drugs I can get hold of I try to sit down with a cup of instant milky coffee and talk to someone (in person or on the phone) for 20 minutes, or until the risk of the pills bouncing :o has gone! Quite often the little bit of caffiene and the chat help. And shut yourself in your bedroom, with the curtains closed, plenty of water and tell everyone else to be quiet until you're better!! If it doesn't go away soon, call NHS direct or your GP and ask them for an alternative. They may be able to give you a one-off dose of something different that will knock it on the head (I've had injections for migraines when I haven't been able to take the usual stuff).

It looks as though there's a connection between asprin, NSAIDs and bleeding problems whilst taking the tablets I'm on. I've got to go back to the doctors next week anyway so I'll ask her then what I can take for next time.

I've just had something to eat, taken a couple more paracetamol and had a pint of squash. Fingers crossed it seems to be easing a bit at last.
