EON- Energy extra Saver 8 Price Increase
I signed up for this tarrif at the end of September but looking at the forum I see EON changed the prices on the 1st November 08.
To date they have not notified me either by email or letter. While i think this is shocking what happens if I do not recieve any communication within the next few days as the 65 day communication period to let customers' know the price has changed will have expired. Also how is it they can't inform thie customers when it happens. I work for a bank (forgive me) but at least they have to give 30 days advance notice of any changes to charges if they have signed up to the Business Banking Code.
Surely the govt needs to force they energy customers into some form of notifying their customers.
Have any other people had any mail from EON on this plan.
Any idea what the best plan for Eon is now (i live in Glasgow area)

Hi,
EnergyOnline Extra Saver Version 8 did get increased in November 2008.
As this was a price increase across the company, you should have received a letter to confirm the new unit costs.
I’d call E.ON and ask if they can see a record of this letter, as all correspondence sent out to customers is noted on the accounts.
Your Discount for Version 8 will remain the same until around 1 November 2009. I’d use your online account to see if you can find a more recent version that might make you a saving.“Official Company Representative
