am starting to think about easter and love the idea of the chocolate slabs
what is the cheapest but nicest chocolate that everyone uses ????
with my discount at work I can get dairy milk for 75p a bar ( I think its the 200g size ??? ) and how many bars will I need per slab

I used ASDA own dark choc or Somerfield value dark choc melted 100g and then poured in to a sillicone loaf tin and decorated with smarties and maltesers( or what ever you like) I cant remember how much they cost. I believe some of the others say that dairy milk doesnt work as well as dark but we've not tried it.

It made a small layer at the bottom which set quickly as we started late and time was tight for christmas

Hi, I used netto milk choc 200g bar per mould. Then the kids decorated them with chopped up fudge and marshmallows. they came out great.0

the butterfly mould was sent to me by a lovely forum member

the rectangle ones I just used a plastic lunchbox type container

they did have the butterfly moulds in the poundshop but that was a few weeks ago
wish I could have found something boyish but never mind0 -
poundshop nearest to me is up at the metro centre which is about 25 mins in the car so tend not to go up that often.
Just had a look on ebay and found some winnie the pooh ones so I am tempted by them for DD's party bags! quite expensive for what they are though!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0
