Parents Evening grrrrrr

the main problem is too many people in too short a time.... doesnt matter how it is organised, there are always problems.
my youngest 's junior school, does it all in one go, but as she only has one teacher its not a problem normally
my older two's senior school, split the parents evening into two alphabetically for year 7, they also do the same for year 9 (due to choosing options)
but with 1500 kids per year = 750 per evening, delays, missed appointments still happen.
ideally if you have any worries, you should be able to contact the school/teacher and ask for a separate meeting.
lets face it, giving out numbers treats you a little like kids....!
I certainly took years before I could call a teacher out of school by their first name rather than Sir or Miss...smile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....

Having been through the infant/primary/secondary schools 6th form is a dream. Only 4 max to see. Worth waiting for.
edit.
Just been, quite painless.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
