Macmillan - Walks 2009 - Hamsterley Forest

Hello everyone - Macmillan Cancer Support are hosting their walks again which take place all over the UK.

If you are in the North East of England then one of the great walks talking place is in Hamsterley Forest.

Wedged between Teesdale and Weardale, Hamsterley Forest offers woodland of outstanding natural beauty. At the end of the walk, treat yourself to a well-earned rest and a slice of delicious homemade cake in the tearoom. There is also a playpark available for the children if they still have the energy!

The walk is 9 miles and a small fee of £5 per walker is payable.
