BG Customers - Remember to take a reading on 19Feb
As gas companies tend to over estimate customers bills (I wonder why!!?!??!), make sure you take a reading of your gas meter on the 19th February when gas prices are coming down. That way, it means that it denies the wonderful BG from charging you a few hundred extra units at the higher price.

Look for threads from August aqnd you'll see plenty of people complaining that the reads were underestimated.
I'd bet that a similar proportion are over and under estimated each time, but only people who lose out complain.0 -
Beat them at their own game, give them a reading which is a fair bit under what it actually says (to gain from the price cut). If they come and ask you whats going on just say it was dark when i took the reading, and might have mis-read.
However I bet you they wont question it at all. 0
